(Triamcinolone Acetonide USP 0.1% w/w (5g)
Proven to be more efficacious in the reduction of size, number, pain, erythema & exudate levels at day 8 & at day 10 as compared to single application of 100mg Doxycyline hydate, 20% Benzocaine gel. Topical corticosteriod having anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive actions. Positive response in the triamcinolone acetonide group & phenytoin group was 86.7% & 53.3% respectively on aphthous ucers in patients with behcet’s syndrome.
